For organizations

White-label

Your brand. Your domain.
Your browser diagnostics.

Deploy BrowserSnap’s browser detection engine under your own name, logo, and color scheme. When users click your support link, they see your brand — not ours. No code changes required.

“What browser are you using?” — the question that loses trust

Every support team knows the frustration. A user reports a bug. You ask for their browser version. They send a screenshot of the wrong thing, or paste a user agent string they copied incorrectly, or they simply don’t know. The back-and-forth costs time and erodes confidence.

Sending users to a third-party “what is my browser” tool works technically, but it breaks the experience. Users land on a page they don’t recognise, get distracted, or worry about sharing data with an unknown service.

White-labeling solves this. The diagnostic link you send lives on your domain, carries your logo, and speaks in your colors. Users see a familiar face, click without hesitation, and paste the share link straight into your support ticket.

Built for teams that care about their brand

Customer support teams

Embed a branded "check my browser" link in every support ticket auto-reply. Users arrive, share their snapshot, and close the loop — without a single back-and-forth email.

IT helpdesks

Internal tooling deserves internal branding too. Deploy under your company domain so employees trust the tool immediately and follow your helpdesk workflow without friction.

SaaS product teams

Bug reports are a product experience. A branded diagnostics link embedded in your app's error screens shows users you've thought of everything — and gives engineers the data they actually need.

Agencies and consultancies

Deliver the tool to each client under their own name. Run a white-labeled instance for every brand you manage from a single deployment, switching branding by domain with zero overhead.

Everything your users see carries your identity

White-labeling isn’t a skin. Every visible surface is configurable — so users never glimpse the engine underneath.

✓

App name

Shown in the page header, browser tab title, and all metadata.

✓

Logo

Emoji symbol or hosted image URL — rendered at the correct size on all pages.

✓

Primary color

Buttons, links, focus rings, and interactive states all follow your brand color.

✓

Accent & faint colors

Info boxes, borders, and muted text automatically harmonise with your primary.

✓

Dark mode variants

Every color has a separate dark-mode override so the experience is polished in both themes.

✓

Page title & meta description

Search engines and link previews display your brand name, not ours.

✓

Share links

Snapshot URLs live on your domain — users share a link that looks like it came from you.

How it works

There’s no admin panel, no SaaS dashboard to learn. Branding is a single JSON file per domain, read at request time. Point a new domain at the same deployment and drop in a new file. Done.

1

Deploy

Self-host the open-source codebase on your own infrastructure, or let us host it for you. Node 20+ and a SQLite-capable host is all you need.

2

Configure

Create a brands/yourdomain.com.json file with your name, logo, and color palette. The server picks it up on the next request — no restart required.

3

Point your domain

Set a DNS record pointing your support subdomain (e.g. browser.yourcompany.com) at the deployment. The right brand loads automatically.

4

Share the link

Paste browser.yourcompany.com into your support macros, help centre articles, or error pages. Users arrive, generate a snapshot, and send it back.

Privacy that reflects well on your brand

All browser detection runs client-side in the user’s browser. Nothing is transmitted to any server unless the user explicitly chooses to generate a share link. Snapshots are stored for 30 days and can be deleted at any time.

Because you self-host, the data never leaves your infrastructure. Your privacy policy covers it. Your DPA covers it. There’s no third-party sub-processor to disclose, no cookies to consent to.

For organizations subject to GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2 requirements, this matters. A branded, self-hosted diagnostics page signals that you take data handling seriously — because you do.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a white-label browser diagnostics tool?

A white-label deployment means running BrowserSnap's browser detection engine under your own name, logo, and domain — so your users see your brand, not ours. Everything from the page title and header logo to the share link URLs reflects your organization's identity.

Do I need to change any code to white-label BrowserSnap?

No code changes are required. Branding is controlled by a single JSON configuration file per domain (e.g., brands/yourcompany.com.json). Add your name, logo, and color palette to that file, point your domain at the deployment, and the right brand loads automatically.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. You point any subdomain or domain (e.g., browser.yourcompany.com) at your BrowserSnap deployment via a DNS record. The server reads the hostname on each request and loads the matching brand configuration automatically.

Is the white-labeled tool self-hosted?

BrowserSnap is open-source and designed for self-hosting on your own infrastructure using Node 20+ and SQLite. You can also contact us for a managed hosting arrangement if you prefer not to run your own server.

Is BrowserSnap GDPR compliant when white-labeled?

Because you self-host the deployment, all data stays within your own infrastructure. No data is sent to any third party. Since browser detection runs client-side and no cookies are set, your privacy policy and DPA cover the tool entirely — there are no additional sub-processors to disclose.

How much does white-labeling cost?

The open-source codebase is free to self-host. For managed hosting, enterprise support, or a guided setup, get in touch at [email protected] and we'll discuss options.
